Barbara Catoggio Kullen, JD., formerly of Shoreham, NY is an accomplished Board member of St. John's Residence for Boys. A native of Jamaica Estates, NY, Barbara graduated from The Mary Louis Academy and from Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart and received the degree of Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law. She thereupon embarked upon a thirty-four-year career in corporate and securities law in the financial services industry in New York (including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Willkie Farr & Gallagher, rapidly expanding CBWL-Hayden Stone, Shearson, a Citigroup predecessor, and Prudential Securities). Meanwhile, Barbara and her husband, raised four now-grown children, Rick, Mike, Lisa and Tony.
Shortly after 9/11/2001, Barbara and her husband, the late Richard C. Kullen, Jr. a corporate and corporate finance lawyer, withdrew from the practice of law. Since then, Barbara’s “Retirement Career” has been primarily pro bono work. She currently serves as Chairman of the combined Audit Committee of St. John's and Little Flower, is a member of Little Flower's Board and former Member and Audit Committee Chairman of Little Flower's School Board. For 17 years, Barbara has been a Classroom Aide or Reading Aide at Little Flower School, and also serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee of Shoreham-Wading River CSD, and is a Volunteer at Pax Christi shelter and Hope Academy."
Her other board service has included Trustee and Finance Committee Member of Manhattanville College, and Director and Audit Committee Member of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Greater New York.
