It sure was windy. Everything was blowing all over the place. But, it had no effect on the great time all had at St. John's Day. It was a smashing success! Norman put out a great buffet, and Jason was there to help him, along with a couple of volunteers from the Child Care Department, and George and Go Go at the grills. Loads of compliments to the kitchen crew.
The Knicks Groove Unit was here, the carnival ride that brought many people up in the air, the clown, the arts and crafts, the Pepper Stepper entertainment, the games, the prizes, the sounds of Rob's background music and his talented DJ performance; these features and many more made the day a source of fun and laughs for the residents, the staff, and all the friends and neighbors who were with our St. John's Family.
A shout out to Ms. Rita for masterminding the event and tending to the many details that needed coordination, to Norman and the kitchen helpers, the volunteer food servers, Rob for his music, and all those who helped make our 33rd St. John's Day festival an event that we will remember fondly for the years to come.
We are already looking forward to next year's St. John's Day festival.
