REFLECTIONS ON WANDA
Our entire family here at St. John’s was shocked to hear the tragic news of the passing of Wanda Breeden, a six year veteran of the Child Care Department, on Friday, December 16, 2005. It came so suddenly.
We knew that Wanda struggled with a serious asthmatic condition. However, when one is taken from us so suddenly, it shocks us to the core.
Wanda was much beloved by both the staff and the boys. She was a helpful and friendly person, and always had a ready smile. I was happy to see that she was the first one to win one of our special gift baskets at the annual Staff Recognition Party. She was very happy with her prize.
When one goes so quickly and abruptly from our midst, the loss is most dramatic. Our prayers and sympathies go to Wanda’s family. Knowing what a wonderful person she was here at St. John’s, we can understand the great grief her family must feel. Our prayer is that those Wanda leaves will seek consolation in the fact that she is with the Lord and will never again experience any pain. May she rest in peace.
